Rockford University’s Nor Alamery To Be Honored In The 49th Annual Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Program

ROCKFORD, Ill. (October 27, 2023) – Rockford University, the region’s leading private four-year educational institution, is proud to announce that Student Government President Nor Alamery will be honored in the 49th Annual Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Program.
The Lincoln Academy seeks to honor students who have exhibited outstanding curricular and extracurricular involvement at their college or university.
At the November 4th ceremony, Nor will be presented with the Abraham Lincoln Civic Engagement Award, as well as a Lincoln medallion, challenge coin, and $1,000 check from the Lincoln Academy.
Alex Johnson, Director of Student Involvement and Orientation, says “Nor has truly exemplified the essence of an exceptional student and leader, infusing the student experience at Rockford University with her unwavering dedication and passion. Her ability to excel academically while enriching the lives of her peers is a testament to her remarkable commitment to both her studies and the Rockford University Community.”
