Rockford University’s esteemed Puri School of Business is actively seeking applications for a full-time faculty Lecturer position specializing in Marketing and Digital Marketing. Our academic offerings encompass a wide spectrum, including traditional and accelerated undergraduate programs and MBA degrees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering marketing courses across both daytime and evening schedules. Faculty members are expected to manage a teaching load of 15 credit hours each semester: starting Fall 2025.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Candidates should, at minimum, possess a background in Marketing or Digital Marketing, or both – with either academic qualification in one area and practical experience in the other.

Preferred Qualification: Terminal degree (Ph.D., DBA, ABD) in Marketing, Digital Marketing or a closely related field.

Alternative Qualification: A graduate degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or an MBA, supplemented with the requisite academic and professional qualifications to instruct graduate and undergraduate courses in marketing and related business areas.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for candidates with outstanding teaching skills. The ideal candidate will be willing to become actively involved in the Rockford area community. If you have the ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses, have an interest in online teaching, and would like to explore the opportunity to write and publish in professional or academic journals, you are encouraged to apply.
