About/Bio Stephen Troveh holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST-Ghana) as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Henderson State University, Arkansas and PhD in Economics from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Prior to his graduate studies, Stephen worked with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) for CEDM officer and later as Data migration officer. Stephen Troveh is currently an assistant professor of Finance in the Puri School of Business at Rockford University.
His research interests include Financial Economics, Applied Microeconomics, and Monetary Economics. His current research focuses on how financial innovations such as mobile money impact household decision, financial inclusion and monetary policy in developing economies. He is also working on how the emergence of speculative assets such cryptocurrencies affect the risk management behavior of homeowners across developed economies.
