Laura started in the position of Admission Counselor in late September of 2021. She is from Rockford, IL and graduated from Rockford Christian High School. She then followed her dream of becoming an actress to University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point where she gained her BFA in Musical Theatre. She spent the summers of her undergrad career performing professionally around the country as well as working as a marketing and PR intern. Trying something new, she applied for the position of Admission Counselor here at Rockford University and was brought on as a First-Year Admission Counselor as well as the Performing Arts Liaison. Laura has found a love for helping students and families find the right fit for their higher education goals. Laura is passionate about the liberal arts education that Rockford University supplies and is a great example of being able to use her liberal arts Bachelor's Degree in a wide variety of fields.
