About/Bio Assistant Professor of Kinesiology, Hunter joined the Rockford University faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2013. He completed his undergraduate work at Plymouth State University in 1990 earning a bachelor of science degree in Physical Education. Hunter completed his graduate work at the United States Sports Academy in 1993 earning a master of sports science in administration degree. He then completed his Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Administration in 2005 from Madison University. Hunter has taught physical education and sport management classes for 24 years at the collegiate level. He has also coached men’s and women’s sports at the collegiate level for 24 years and has been named Coach of the Year nine times.
