About/Bio Jenna Goldsmith is Lecturer in English at Rockford University, specializing in the teaching of first-year writing.
Her scholarly interests include first-year writing pedagogy, creative writing pedagogy, and the rich intersections therein. She has been published in disClosure: A Journal of Social Theory and ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment.
A poet by trade and by training, Goldsmith has published in New Delta Review, the New Territory, Rabbit Catastrophe Review, What Rough Beast, and Tilde, among other venues. In 2022, her poetry chapbook TITLE NINE was published by Press 254, the teaching press of Illinois State University, and her chapbook, CRUSH, was the winner of the 2022 Baltic Writing Residency Chapbook.
When not teaching, Goldsmith can be found writing, reading, eating pizza, tending to her houseplants, and exploring all things Midwest.
