Dr. Filiz Dik is a Professor of Mathematics at Rockford University. Her teaching spans courses in Calculus, Statistics, Probability Models, Numerical Analysis, and mathematics for pre-service teachers. She is dedicated to student engagement through research and collaborative learning. Her scholarly interests include mathematical analysis and mathematics education, and her work has appeared in several international, peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Dik is an active member of the American Mathematical Society (AMS), Mathematical Association of America (MAA), Sigma Xi, the American Association of University Women (AAUW), and the Northern Illinois Association of Teachers of Mathematics (NIATM).
