By Neil Anthony Docking: The Revlon Girl tells the poignant story of a group of women who try to make sense of their lives after suffering a great loss in the October 1966 mining disaster of Aberfan, Wales. It is a beautifully crafted and delicate story about friendship, loss, family, community, healing, and hope. Neil Anthony Docking’s intelligent and sensitive script examines the process of grief, redemption, and the embracing of what is to move forward through the tears and laughter of women seeking to return to a sense of normality and embrace a different type of future.
