What is it?

This is a free 3-hour financial literacy training session offered by Professors Orhan Erdem, Ph.D., and Luis Romero, MBA.

This Program focuses on practical financial skills that can help people of all ages better manage financial situations that are part of everyday life.

By gaining a better understanding of the basics of financial literacy, attendees can reach their financial goals, effectively manage their finances, and build a sound plan for buying a home or starting a business.

What does it cover?

• Learn how to manage checking and savings accounts
• Be able to prepare a simple family budget
• Understanding credit, debit & credit scoring
• Understand the basics of loans, student loans
• Learn how to use credit cards effectively
• Calculate the loan payments, and balance using Excel
• Understand elements of sound financial decisions

Anyone interested in enhancing money management skills and knowledge.
