CCCI CareerFest

As a part of the College Career Consortium of Illinois (CCCI), Rockford University students and alumni have access to CareerFest, its Spring 2021 Virtual Career Fair.
About CareerFest 2021:
The 32nd Annual CareerFest is planned for Friday, February 12, 2021 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. via Handshake. CareerFest will include local and regional employers offering internships, and full-time positions in business, government, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profits, science, and social services.
Using an online platform, students will be able to meet with employers and hiring organizations at their virtual booths through 1-1 sessions and interviews.
If you are a student seeking full-time or internship opportunities plan to participate in CareerFest. With a chance to connect with employers in a variety of career fields including business, government, and non-profits who value the skills and experiences unique to students from small, private liberal arts colleges.
To Register (Registration Deadline is 2/10/2021):
- Access the fair through Handshake’s Open Network: https://www.joinhandshake.com/
- Complete your free profile; search for your institution (Rockford University)
- You will now have access to jobs, internships, and public career events
- Under Events/Career Fairs, search and register for CareerFest 2021 (CCCI- College Career Consortium of IL)
- Review all employers and opportunities
- Sign up for employer sessions in advance. You can only attend sessions you registered for. Learn more here.
- If you sign up for employer sessions that conflict with a class, please check with your professor ahead of time.
- Update your profile. Some employers set qualifications to define which students can register for their sessions. To ensure you qualify for employer sessions, make sure you have filled out the following fields on your profile:
- School year, major and GPA, which can be found on your profile
- Work authorization status, which can be found on the Privacy & Settings page
