Test-Optional Admissions: Worried about those SAT or ACT scores? Don’t be! We’re test-optional, which means you can choose whether or not to submit those scores. It’s all about giving you flexibility in the application process. Two Easy Ways to Apply: We’ve got options for you when it comes to submitting your application. Pick the one that suits you best:
1. Online Application – all students
2. Common App – undergraduate students only

Choose your program
First-Year Undergraduate:
- Request your official high school transcripts be sent to RU.
- Submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
- To obtain a form, go to studentaid.gov to file electronically. Rockford University’s FAFSA code is 001748.

Transfer Undergraduate:
- Request your official transcripts be sent to RU.
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended are required.
- If you have less than 12 hours of college level credits, please also send us your official high school transcripts. Apply!
