Hey there, future Regent! Whether you are an undergraduate, full-time student, part-time student, international student, or graduate student, applying to Rockford University is easy. We’re all about making the admissions process as smooth as possible for you.
 
When We Review Applications: We don’t keep you waiting! At Rockford University, we review applications for admission on a rolling basis. That means as soon as we’ve got all your required application materials, we’ll start working on your admission decision.

 

Test-Optional Admissions: Worried about those SAT or ACT scores? Don’t be! We’re test-optional, which means you can choose whether or not to submit those scores. It’s all about giving you flexibility in the application process. Two Easy Ways to Apply: We’ve got options for you when it comes to submitting your application. Pick the one that suits you best:

1. Online Application – all students

2. Common App – undergraduate students only

First-Year Undergraduate: 

Transfer Undergraduate:

  • Request your official transcripts be sent to RU.
    • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended are required. 
    • If you have less than 12 hours of college level credits, please also send us your official high school transcripts. Apply!
  • Submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

RU Online:

The flexible 100% online format enables working professionals, parents, military service members, frequent travelers and many more to earn a Rockford University bachelor’s degree. Classes start soon- Apply today!

The RU Online program at Rockford University offers three majors:

  • B.S. in Business Management
  • B.S. in Accounting Studies
  • B.S. in Human Services
