How to Receive Post–9/11, Yellow Ribbon Program & GI BILL® Program Benefits at Rockford University

  1. Apply for your benefits through the Veterans Administration (VA). Information can be found on the VA Web site at www.va.gov or by calling the VA at 1-888-GI-BILL-1.
  2. Submit your certificate of eligibility to Rockford University’s certifying official.

  3. Apply for admission to Rockford University.

Acceptance into the Yellow Ribbon Program will be on a first-come, first-served basis. First-come is defined as a student who has completed all admission requirements, as well as submitted all documents regarding eligibility for the Post–9/11, Yellow Ribbon Program & GI Bill® Benefits.
