How to Receive Post–9/11, Yellow Ribbon Program & GI BILL® Program Benefits at Rockford University
- Apply for your benefits through the Veterans Administration (VA). Information can be found on the VA Web site at www.va.gov or by calling the VA at 1-888-GI-BILL-1.
- Submit your certificate of eligibility to Rockford University’s certifying official.

Acceptance into the Yellow Ribbon Program will be on a first-come, first-served basis. First-come is defined as a student who has completed all admission requirements, as well as submitted all documents regarding eligibility for the Post–9/11, Yellow Ribbon Program & GI Bill® Benefits.
