Student Resources
- The HUB: Academic Coaching & Testing Services located in the Howard Colman Library is a resource for all RU students which is designed to support their academic needs. The Academic Coaching & Testing Services portion employs a number of Peer Academic Coaches (PAC) across many subjects.
- Howard Colman Library In addition to the collection of nursing books, the Howard Colman Library has several nursing journals available for student use. Numerous other healthcare-related resources are available from the library, including online journals and other resources. For information on accessing these resources, please get in touch with the staff at Howard Colman Library for any assistance.
- IT: Information Technology provides our campus community with network and internet connectivity, computer classrooms and labs, electronic resources such as e-mail, our course scheduling system, and our emergency notification system.
- Lang Wellness Center The mission of Lang Wellness Center is to create a safe and supportive environment to meet the Rockford University community’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Math Lab in Room 302A of Starr Science Center offers RU students free math help and tutoring. The tutoring and help are peer-led by upper-level math students.
- Writing Center Even individuals with years of experience writing benefit from feedback and reflection on their writing at all stages. The Writing Center can assist you! They are here for everyone, and their peer writing consultants can help.
- The Career Development office equips students and alums to be strategic and career-ready in collaboration with faculty, staff, and various off-campus partners. They are located in Burpee, in the Student Life Suite.
