Hi everyone! My name is Melanie Ortiz, and I am currently a junior here at Rockford University studying Nursing and Spanish. I graduated from Jefferson High School and, gratefully, I was able to be a school ambassador, in the Top 10 graduates, have Honor Roll consecutively all four years, and become a Rockford Promise Scholar.

Now that I am a junior, I am thankful for all of the resources that have helped me throughout the years and am now thankful that as a tutor / assistant I am able to help others.

That said, please feel free to contact me for any help you may need, and also for a fellow classmate and friend. I look forward to working with all of you!

Me gradué de Jefferson High School, donde pude ser embajadora de la escuela, estar entre los 10 mejores estudiantes, tener Honor Roll de manera consecutiva los cuatro años y llegar a ser una Rockford Promise Scholar.

This is a language table that encourages open communication en español. All are welcome to join us regardless of the level of language mastery. We look forward to seeing you there! All conversation hours will take place in the Lobby of Scarborough Hall.
