CAMPUS AND COMMUNITY

A community of communities.

It’s not hard to fit in here. Whether you are working with a professor and classmates to present innovative research, participating in a student club, playing your favorite sport, or volunteering to help feed the homeless at a local shelter, you will find opportunities to belong.

To us, it’s more than just offering different experiences. It’s bringing together different communities of our campus, intersecting the groups with each other, and cohesively building one family. Student-athletes perform in plays; biochemistry majors write articles for the literary magazine; and students, along with faculty and staff, volunteer side by side to help local nonprofits.

That’s how we define community.
